About RSS

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. At Granite Medical, when we add new information to this site, a title and summary appears in our newsfeed. If you subscribe to our newsfeed, these new articles will appear in your newsreader.

Why subscribe to an RSS newsfeed?

Let's say there are several websites that you regularly visit. If an RSS newsfeed is available you can have a notice sent to your "newsreader" so that you do not have to keep checking back. You do not have to leave an email address or any information at all. You just add the feed to your reader.

You can delete the feed at any time.

Where do I get a reader?

A reader (or aggregator) grabs the RSS feeds from various sites and displays them for you to read and use. There are many options, including Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft Outlook.

How Do I get Started?
